He has tried over 100 cases before judges or arbitrators.  During service as a pro tem judge for the Riverside Superior Court, he resolved or adjudged hundreds of cases in civil harassment, juvenile dependency, juvenile delinquency, and other areas.

He is known for his willingness to battle with instutional defendants, defense of the oppressed and poor, personal intensity, cross-examination skills, and ability to recall minute case details.
